The sun is shining today!  And I finally did my wash - all of it. There were a surprising number of people at my apt complex who had the same idea.  The sun does that - brings out the fresh air and clean smells of a weather-washed region.  And Seattle - has sure had the weather this year.

Sootie, one of my two cats, the needy and demanding one, is sitting on the back of my chair as I type.  This is a great concession on her part.  She did not give in easily either.  Nudging, curling, stepping over and around my laptop, she tried to find her favorite spot crooked in my left arm (not the right one, mind you).  But her perch, the left arm, kept moving as I reached to type another sentence.  So she patiently (resignedly?) sits behind me watching my every move.

I try to remind my cats how lucky they are that I work at home, that they have company during the day..they just don't seem to get it.

Not to leave her out, Sneakers, cat #2, is curled in her favorite spot on my bed.  She seems extra happy these days since I got a new mattress cover - that foamy stuff that supposed to yield to your body pressure.  She is not far from wrong.  I like it too.

Well, this is enough for today.  Back to my website management - www.SeattleHomesforAll.com - it has become an all day project. I was inspired by a presentation yesterday at the other meeting I attended, the Women's Council of Realtors meet once a month at a restruant next to Lk Union.  A young woman from Microsoft was the guest speaker, her topic was about website design, what to do and what not to do.  It all makes sense now.  I hope I am able to apply what I learned.  It's a lot like staging a house.  The first sight is often the lasting impression, what inspires someone to look further or impels them to move on.
